INTENTION BEHIND FOUNDATIONS
Our "Foundations of Faith" class is created for new believers who want to understand the foundational beliefs of Christianity. However, this class is also an encouragement and reminder for those who have been in the faith for a while. The class is structured around seven lessons to help you "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 3:18). We will look at what God’s Word says about who He is and who we are. The ultimate goal is to leave with a solid understanding of what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.” — Matthew 7:24–25
The class is offered each fall & spring over an 8-week time period. We will meet on the church campus in the B1 classroom (in the chapel building) at 10:45 am. There is no charge and all are welcome. Email Steve Doucette with any questions. We hope to see you there!
